Movement Instructor
Laura earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in
Dance and Theater from Barry University. She was a member of the Barry Dance Ensemble and performed with the Jamaican Association Dance Team. Born and raised in Fairfield, Connecticut, Laura began training at the age of 5 with
Polly's School of Dance and Gymnastics where she competed as an all-around level 8 gymnast. Laura also competed as a
member of the Fairfield High School Varsity Gymnastics Team. She has trained in classical ballet and performed in peformances
of "The Nutcracker" and "Swan Lake" with the Bei Ling Ballet. Additionally, she has been trained
in modern, jazz, African dance, Caribbean dance, hip hop, and Latin dance and has performed in the Super Bowl Half-Time Show. Laura has taught gymnastics and dance
to students from the age of 2 to teenagers for the past 8 years. Currently, she is a member
of USA Gymnastics and has completed safety and injury prevention certifications.
It is Laura's sincere wish to share her passion of dance with others and encourage all students to express themselves
confidently in the world of dance.
