Lisa Cousineau

Lisa was born and raised in Ocala, FL. She began her dance training at the age of three at the Dance Divine School of Ballet where she studied both Cecchetti and Vaganova methods of ballet and pointe. She became a member of the Light of Joy Ballet Company and performed as a soloist in many productions.

Lisa attended Palm Beach Atlantic University where she recently received her Bachelor’s Degree in Dance. While attending Palm Beach Atlantic University, she furthered her dance studies in ballet and pointe with Eileen Hebron, former dancer with American Ballet Theatre. She also trained in modern, jazz, dance history, kinesiology, and choreography & composition. Lisa became a member of the Dance Ensemble and performed as a soloist in "Les Sylphide," as well as many other modern dance pieces.

Currently, Lisa is a dancer with Explore Dance Theatre. We are excited to have Lisa as an instructor, as it is clear she has a passion for dance (especially ballet) and loves working with young dancers.
